A New Chapter for Trekvana: Campervan Furniture Made in Galway
After years of turning empty vans into finished campers (any enjoying every minute of it), we’re now expanding our campervan furniture range.
It feels like a natural next step for us, but it could make a very big difference to someone building their own camper.
The part that turns a van into a camper
A self-build conversion takes an enormous amount of work.
You have to find the right van, strip it out, insulate it, line the walls, fit the flooring and make countless decisions about how everything will work. Many people are perfectly capable of doing those jobs themselves.
Then they reach the furniture.
Building a bed, kitchen and storage units requires tools, space, time and a fair amount of confidence. It can become the point where an exciting camper project slows down or stops altogether.
We realised there was a real gap between building every cabinet yourself and paying for a complete professional conversion.
That is where Trekvana furniture fits.
Ready-made furniture for self-builders
Our furniture is designed for practical people who want to finish their camper, not become cabinetmakers.
Every piece is handmade in East Galway from lightweight poplar plywood and supplied fully assembled. You can choose the individual units that work for your layout, or select a complete matching furniture set for your van.
The first Trekvana collection includes:

For a smaller or short-wheelbase camper, individual pieces can be combined to make better use of the available space. Some people may only need a bed. Others might want a kitchen and storage without filling the entire van.
That flexibility is the whole point.
Designed through real campervan experience
These designs haven’t been created in isolation. They have developed through years of building and using campervans.
We know that furniture needs to do more than look attractive. It has to make sensible use of a small space, provide useful storage and remain straightforward to live with.
A seat might also house a coolbox. A bed needs to make room for daytime living. A cabinet should provide storage without taking over the van.
Those practical details are what make a small camper work.
Made in Galway and ready to collect
Every Trekvana unit is made in our workshop in East Galway.
The furniture is supplied fully assembled and is available for collection. Because vans and self-build interiors can differ, we provide the measurements so customers can carefully check that each piece will work in their space before ordering.
There is no flat-pack puzzle waiting at the other end. The furniture arrives built, ready for you to secure inside your camper using a suitable method for your vehicle.

This is a new direction for Trekvana, but it builds on everything we have already learned.
We still care about simple layouts, clever storage and making campervan life feel achievable. We’re simply putting that experience into furniture that more people can use in their own projects.
