Campervan Stock Showcase – Vans for Sale and Key Features

Rather than focusing on one specific van, this post is about what you can expect from a Trekvana campervan. Our stock changes as vans are completed, but the way we design, build, and finish our campers stays consistent across every conversion.
Designed for Real Irish Travel
All of our campervans are designed around how people actually travel and sleep in a camper in Ireland.
That means:
layouts that feel open and comfortable
systems that are simple to use and easy to understand
interiors that work in wet, windy, and changeable weather
We build campers that are easy to use regularly, not just for one-off trips.
Our Five Campervan Layout Options
Layout choice is one of the most important decisions when buying a camper. It affects how comfortable the van feels, how you use the space during the day, and how easily it converts at night.
We offer five carefully designed layouts, each created to suit different travel styles rather than trying to be everything at once.
These include:
1. Trekvana Horizon – Our Signature U-Lounge
2. Trekvana Wayfarer - A slim design to maximise floor space while adding essential storage
3. Trekvana Adventurer - A flexible sliding-bed system combined with a matching cabinet bundle
4. Trekvana Trailblazer – L-Shape - This designs allows for storage of bikes, dog crates and surfboards etc inside the van
5. Trekvana Voyager - combining a sliding bed, full-height wardrobe, overhead locker and matching cabinetry
Each layout is designed with flow, storage, and ease of use in mind. You can explore all five layouts in detail on our layouts page and see how each one works in practice.
Hidden Toilet Cupboard - Practical and Discreet
One of the most valued features across our campers is the hidden toilet cupboard.
This is a dedicated, discreet cupboard designed to fit a Thetford Porta Potti 145 or 345. It slides out easily when needed and tucks neatly away when not in use, keeping the living area calm and uncluttered.
The benefits are simple but important:
no permanent bathroom taking up space
privacy and peace of mind while travelling (We include Privacy Glass and Black Out Curtains as standard)
ideal for night-time use or wild camping
easy access without disrupting the layout
It’s a small detail that makes a big difference to comfort and confidence on the road.
Fully Insulated for Year-Round Comfort
Every Trekvana camper is fully insulated, sound deadened, and lined to support comfortable travel in all seasons.
We use high-quality, fire resistant insulation throughout, helping to:
retain heat in cooler weather
reduce noise while driving and parked
create a quieter, more comfortable sleeping environment
The interior is finished in blush pink or light grey fire resistant carpeting, giving a soft, warm feel while also meeting safety standards.
Safety Comes as Standard
We believe safety should never be an optional extra.
Every Trekvana camper includes a Free Safety Kit, made up of:
Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm
Fire Extinguisher
First Aid Kit
These essentials are fitted or supplied as standard, so you can travel with confidence from day one.
Three Ways to Charge the Leisure Battery
Our campers are designed to keep your power simple and reliable.
The leisure battery can be charged in three different ways:
while driving, through a dedicated charging system
via electric hook-up when staying on a campsite
through roof-mounted solar panels (available on request)
This flexibility means your camper stays powered whether you’re on the move, parked up, or spending longer days off-grid.
Easy to Drive and Easy to Park
We build on the VW Transporter T6 platform, in both short wheelbase and long wheelbase options.
Both sizes:
fit comfortably into standard parking spaces
can access most car parks including Beach car parks and multi story carparks
fit under height barriers that larger motorhomes cannot
This means you can park in towns, visit beaches, pop into supermarkets, and explore freely without worrying about access or restrictions.
A Female-Led, Open Approach
Trekvana is a female-led business, and that shapes how we design and how we communicate.
We’re used to talking openly about things that don’t always get enough space in camper conversations:
toilets and privacy
mobility and ease of access
seating height and comfort
safety and confidence when travelling solo
There’s no pressure and no awkward questions. Just honest, clear conversations about what will genuinely work for you. Did you know we can also supply an Accessibility Kit, please ask us about this.
A Note From Us
If you’re thinking about buying a camper this spring, our current campers for sale page is the best place to see what’s available right now. While individual vans may change, every Trekvana camper shares the same thoughtful approach to layout, comfort, safety, and usability.
We also carry out campervan conversions and upgrades, whether you’re starting from an empty van or improving one you already own. If you’d like to talk through layouts, features, or what might suit how you want to travel and sleep in a camper, we’re always happy to help.
